2026 paint color trends for Denver homes

Exterior: warm, earthy neutrals

Warm greiges, khaki tones, and muted clay colors continue to dominate exterior choices in the Denver metro, they read well against the region's natural palette of brown foothills and blue sky, and they tend to hold HOA approval more easily than bold or saturated colors.

Interior: soft greens and warm whites

Interior trends are leaning toward soft, muted greens (sage, olive) paired with warm off-whites, replacing the cooler grays that dominated the last several years. Deep, moody colors are still showing up as accent walls or in smaller spaces like powder rooms and studies, rather than whole-house schemes.
